May 28 Florida Teacher Should be Fired?????Millions have emailed in that it was wrong to kick that kid out. Wheres the 16 kids ,32 parents at and now that all their kids have been taught that the teacher was wrong and that their parents will not be able to protect them from the bad /sick ones going to go to school.Scary thought that they will grow up being beat up and some kid will blow out their brains just cause the world had rather protect a sick kid.Their once upon a time was special schools for sick kids and they cost toooo much.So better to save money than save 16 kids. Congress can go to Iraq to solve problems but not to our schools to help kids.
Florida Teacher Allegedly Lets Kindergarteners Kick Autistic Boy Out of Class in 'Survivor'-Like Vote Wednesday, May 28, 2008 Hundreds of parents of autistic children are signing an online petition to get Florida teacher Wendy Portillo fired for her alleged tactics toward a 5-year-old boy that mirror the reality show "Survivor." Morningside Elementary School in Port St. Lucie, Fla., alerted Melissa Barton this year that her son, Alex, suffers from a high-functioning form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome, FOX 29 reported. Barton claims that Alex was punished for symptoms of his disability, such as humming and eating his homework. She says Portillo went too far last week when she kicked Alex out of class, and then allowed the other students to vote on whether he should be allowed back in. Each student was also allowed to say what he or she did not like about Alex. By a 14-to-2 margin, the students voted Alex out of class, according to The South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "She said this was her way of correcting his behavior," Barton said. "I asked him how that made him feel and he said, ‘I feel sad.’" Barton has filed a complaint with Morningside's school resource officer, who investigated the matter, Port St. Lucie Police Department spokeswoman Michelle Steele told the Sun-Sentinel. But the state attorney's office decided the matter did not meet criteria for emotional child abuse, so no criminal charges will be filed, Steele said. The teacher has been disciplined, however. OMG Here we go again! Who has broken the rules and who is in class to learn how to live with others by following the rules.The kid is sick and disrupts the class and 16 other kids who are following the rules are being harmed by the one who is sick.The teacher who follows rules and kicks out the bad sick kid so as to protect the 16's right to get an education does her job as a teacher.This Selfage Mom who only cares about her own kid and she wants the teacher fired so she gets with other parents of sick kids and threatens to sue school and wants a good teacher fired. The State says no wrong has been done and the teacher was right and then horrors of all horrors the school board or superintent desides to fire or remove the Teacher. Now we have a ruling by a California court that gays can have same sex marriage .First of all how did the court get the power to rule on overturning a law in America.Its an appeals court on top of that. here is the part of the Constution that says the president and the congress are not doing the business of the people.

A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight. Born in 1912 in the same state as my Father and same year,in them Oklahoma hills. He became a communists and my father did not.My father Ernest R. Corbin went to Colorado into the CCC.The Civil Construction Corp set up by the government of the USA.woody Guthrie With the advent of the Dust Bowl era, Guthrie left Texas, leaving Mary behind, and joined the thousands of Okies who were migrating to California looking for work.In the late 1930s, Guthrie achieved fame in Los Angeles, California, with radio partner Maxine "Lefty Lou" Crissman as a broadcast performer of commercial "hillbilly" music and traditional folk music.Ernest R. Corbin sent money home to his family in depressed Oklahoma. woody Guthrie tried to send money home to first wife in Texas. Ernest R. Corbin married my mother in 1940. Guthrie wrote this song in 1940 and With the outbreak of war and the nonaggression pact the Soviet Union had signed with Germany in 1939 KFVD radio owners did not want its staff "spinning apologia" for the Soviet Union; both Robbin and Guthrie left the station. Without the daily radio show, prospects for employment diminished and Guthrie and his family returned to Pampa, Texas to live with his dad.In 1938 and 39 Ernest R. Corbin worked on the kings range in Texas and mended fences on the largest ranch in the world..Ernest R. Corbin married my mother in 1940.and went to work at Houston Light and Power woody Guthrie wrote songs and went to communists meetings. Arriving in New York, Guthrie, known as the Oklahoma cowboy, was embraced by its leftist folk music community and slept on a couch in Will Geer's apartment. On the 8 of August 1942 my fathers baby boy was born(ME) and June the 8,1943 his baby girl was born.(MY SIS) Eight Uncles fought in WW2 and one landed at Normandy .Guthrie unsuccessfully lobbied the United States Army in an attempt to avoid the draft. He believed performing his anti-fascist songs and poems at home were the best use of his talents. When Guthrie's attempts failed, his friend Cisco Houston, pressured Guthrie along with Jim Longhi to join the U.S. Merchant Marine.Guthrie served as a mess man and dish washer, but would frequently entertain the crew and troops to buoy the spirits on transatlantic voyages.Dust Bowl Troubadour ".Guthrie was associated with, but never a member of, Communist groups in the United States throughout his life.In 1945, Guthrie's association with Communism made him ineligible for further service in the Merchant Marine and he was drafted into the U.S. Army1946 and Ernest R. Corbin and Mother started building our home in Houston,Texas.Yes we all worked on that home for years and I had my own bed room.Ernest R. Corbin had a shrimp boat and a truck farm and still worked for Houston light and power to pay the bills.We all worked on the boat and hoed the fields. 1948 All of Ernest R. Corbin left toes were cut off in an accident at work.For years we could not tickle his left foot when he was asleep :) he never lost a day at work ,but he begin to drink .I think he was worried about losing his job. By the late 1940s, Guthrie's health was worsening and his behavior becoming extremely erratic. He received various diagnoses (including alcoholism and schizophrenia), but in 1952 was finally diagnosed to be suffering from Huntington's Disease, the genetic disorder believed to have caused the death of his mother. Believing him to be a danger to their children, Marjorie suggested he return to California without her and they eventually divorced.Thur the Fifty's and into the 60s my dad worked and took us fishing and Hunting.We went on one month vacations traveling all over the USA and by the time I joined the Navy I had seen nearly all the USA.Twice a year uncle Belton was brought home for holidays and i remember him setting in his wheel chair.He was hit in the head at pearl harbor and died a vegetable setting in a wheel chair at the Waco army hospital,Texas.I believe he died in 1975with no arms and no legs.One of our family paid a dear price for his country. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, a new generation of young people were inspired by folk singers including Guthrie. These "folk revivalists" became more politically aware in their music. The American Folk Revival was beginning to take place, focused on the issues of the day, such as the civil rights movement and free speech movement. Pockets of folk singers were forming around the country in places like Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City. Many of these musicians had heard of Guthrie, but one of the first to visit him in the Brooklyn State Hospital was Bob Dylan. Dylan idolized Guthrie, calling him his hero. Soon after learning of Guthrie's whereabouts, these new, young folk singers regularly visited him during the final years of his life, playing his own songs for him as well as their originals.Ernest R. Corbin worked for Houston light and power till he retired after 42 years.He was a member of the fraternal order of eagles and a Eclectic workers union member.My uncle retired from SP rail road and was a mason shrine( Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America (A.A.O.N.M.S.) ) and deacon.He was a member of the teamsters union.Guthrie Died October 3, 1967 (age 55)New York City, New York, Guthrie, increasingly unable to control his muscle movements, was hospitalized at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital from 1956 to 1961, at Brooklyn State Hospital until 1966,and finally at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center until his death.Guthrie died of complications of Huntington's disease in 1967. By the time of his death, his work had been discovered by a new audience, introduced to them in part through Bob Dylan, , Ramblin' Jack Elliott,Guthrie had 3 wife's and eight kids.Memorial day 1999 Ernest R. Corbin died(age 84).By now I think you have guessed it ,my dad and mother just keep working and travleing and Fishing and hunting and working and hunting and fishing.Sold the old home place because the blacks had taken over the neighbor hood and they moved to a place near Spring texas and yep they were there when dad died at 84 years old ,after falling and hitting his head on a brick step and bled to death in 4 days.He had Alzemtimers for last 8 years of his life.I gave his ulegy to 300 friends.Miss my hero.His only wife told me not to cry "cause men in our family dont cry".I cried. Funny how two men born within 100 miles of each other had very differnt lives. Ernest R. Corbin a nobody. Woody Guthrie , the inspertation for songs and his life long association with Communism , alcoholism and schizophrenia, became to others the leader on how to blame the governement and use drugs and have protest marches in the streets .The news media still show's them as heros and not as the lazy moching chrimnals that they were. 68% of this country is like my dad and 24% are under age and still the news media shows Actors and singers and people from the left who are bad mouthing the government on TV ,while the others are losing thier homes and wages and soon thier retirement. May 03 Congress lied to youANAHEIM, California (CNN) -- As he fixes a broken sliding glass door at an apartment in Anaheim, California, Eduardo Gutierrez worries about his parents in Mexico.
He can no longer afford to send the $200 to $300 a month he had been sending back home to support his ailing father. "I kind of feel bad that I can't help my parents," said Gutierrez, a legal immigrant who has worked in the United States for 20 years. "I try. But I can't these days, and it's a tough situation." Gutierrez said he earns $18.50 an hour as a glazier, installer and fixer of glass in all shapes and sizes. But with the U.S. economy sagging, his hours have shrunk, even as his gas and grocery bills have skyrocketed along with other expenses. He's struggling just to support his wife and three children. Wow!!!20 years this man has been here and he is just taking jobs Americans don't won't The illegals working on the Rail Road here only make $12.50 an hour.
